Here’s what’s happening around campus and with your PTSO:
- 📣 PTSO Interest Survey – As we plan for the 2026–27 school year, the PTSO is seeking parents to step into leadership roles and help continue the programs and support our community relies on. If you’re interested in serving — new or returning — please complete the interest survey. 💛💙
- 🎓 Thanks for Supporting East Meck’s First-Gen College Students – This year, we're helping 31 first-generation students with dorm essentials and care packages from bedding to everyday must-haves.
- 🎁 Direct Give: Your Donations Made a Real Difference —Thanks to your generosity, PTSO Direct Give donations funded teacher grants for special classes and clubs, IB and AP materials, and even a new fridge for our counselors.
- 🦅🚶🏽Senior Walks — Senior Walks are coming up in early June at Rama, Lansdowne, Shamrock Gardens, Irwin Academic Center, Providence Springs and Dilworth Elementary. We’ll continue sharing details in the newsletter — stay tuned as our seniors celebrate this special milestone!

Thank You for Helping Us Support
East Meck’s First-Generation College Students
We’re excited to share that we've created 31 dorm care packages for first-generation college students heading to campus this fall. Each package includes a laundry basket, shower caddy, towels, Twin XL sheets, a $40 Walmart gift card, and a note from the PTSO: essentials to help students start strong. Thank you to everyone who helped spread the word and donated so generously — your support made a real impact. ❤️ |

Direct Give: Your Donations Made a Real Difference
We want to thank everyone who supported the PTSO Direct Give campaign this year. We fulfilled numerous teacher grants including items for special classes and clubs, IB and AP class materials, and even a new fridge for the counselors. We have a few more teacher grants to fund this school year!

Dilworth Elementary Senior Sundae Event
Seniors who attended Dilworth Elementary, please join us on Friday, June 5, at 1:30pm for your final Dragon House! Please wear your cap and gown. Following the ceremony, we invite you to the media center for an ice cream reception. Please RSVP here by May 22. |
