If you haven't joined the PTSO yet this year, please sign up by filling out the form here. Starting the week of Aug. 25, only 2025-2026 members will receive the newsletter.

Volunteers are needed at TWO back-to-school events: N.E.S.T and Open House! East Meck will host the annual N.E.S.T. (New Eagle Success Training) orientation sessions on Thursday, August 14 (9-11 AM & 6-8 PM) and Friday, August 15 (9-11 AM). Drop-in Open House sessions will be on Thursday, August 21 (2:00-3:00 PM for 11th & 12th grades; 3:15-4:15 PM for 10th grade; 4:30-6:00 PM for 9th grade).

These events offer new and existing students an opportunity to learn about everything East has to offer. Both are a great opportunity for the PTSO to connect with families, and we need your help to make sure we have a strong and welcoming presence.

We’re looking for volunteers to assist at this year’s sessions. Your role will include answering questions, being a friendly face, and, most importantly, helping us recruit new families to join the PTSO. We still have several key positions open as we prepare for the 2025-26 school year, and we can’t continue our important work without the support of our community.
